Wrench- monitor brightness
AF-S - Keep the setting on that unless you are doing sports, then try AF-C Pen- a Autofocus a7 Built in AF assist ON (it was on OFF)
Camera- JPEG compression OPTIMAL QUALITY (was size priority)
Camera- High ISO- OFF (was on normal)
Research Active D-Lighting
Matrix metering ensures a balance between light and dark areas.
Center Exposure is set correctly for the center of the frame.
Spot Exposure is set correctly for the portrait subject at the selected focus point.
