To Do before the shoot

1. Make sure your make up looks great. You might want to have a make-up artist do it or a friend that is good applying make-up.

2. Dark/Plain Clothes

A simple, dark shirt allows the real focus to be the persons face and it tend to be slimming.

No busy patterns, lines, dots or bright colors –

2. Comfort

Make sure you will be able to step up or down comfortably, tight pants make it hard.

3. Clothes Can Put People into Context

If you are looking for a fun feel, wear something casual. If they want a formal photo shoot have them wear a formal outfit. It is very helpful if I see pictures of the outfits in advance.

4. Collared shirts and Long Sleeves and Pants

*** Please don't have chipped nail polish on or a hair band on wrist.

Make sure younger children don't have ink/markers on their skin.

Maybe whiten your teeth if you feel comfortable doing that.

Get your haircut a couple days before the photo shoot unless you are growing it out.
